Beginning Again and Again

At this very moment, Kyle and I are beginning this:

Kind-a makes you want to throw up, doesn't it?

Kind-a makes you want to throw up, doesn't it?

We will drive a little over 2,000 miles, and travel through 13 states.  Our entire lives packed into a 22′ truck and a Mazda Protégé.  And two doped up cats in the backseat.

We’re beginning our life together…again.  We have no idea what we’ll find in Saratoga Springs.  Neither of us has ever set foot in the area, and aside from descriptions from a friend who lived in Albany and some pictures on the Internet, we have only the vaguest concept of what our new home will consist of.

Ridiculously exciting or shit-your-pants-scary?

Try a little of both.

Holy shit! That’s a long way. And I’m an idiot because I thought Saratoga Springs was in Florida!!

    Good luck!!

Actually I think it looks fun! I’m sure moving so much is exhausting and overwhelming, but it’s better than being stagnant forever right?

I wonder how long the drive from west MI to Saratoga Springs is…

11 hours from Grand Rapids. I checked.

Don’t feel bad Suzy – I thought the same thing! Good luck – you’re stronger than I am. I’ve never lived in a different county much less a different state.

I think I’d die if I had to drive that distance.

I went to Saratoga Springs earlier this year for a wedding. Its a pretty city! That’s all I can say. I was only there for 2 days and didn’t really get to enjoy it much.

Welcome to the NorthEast, where winters are pure hell, summers keep you wishing they were better and the folks are only “sometimes” nice.

Ehhhh, who cares! Welcome to the club!
